This will be my time at PW14. I am excited to meet some new people from outside my usual business environment. I feel that networking can strengthen the pool of resources that I have and help me see problem solving from many different view points.
When I started my current role with my employer I never really thought of myself as a project manager, but as I was given greater responsibilities I realized that most people in a business environment utilized some form of project management. This can be in their day to day activities or for longer time frame business initiatives. Strengths that I began to utilize were working in a logical sense and being diligent about following through. I like to emphasize the ‘follow-through’ because when you hold yourself accountable then the people you are leading will also be accountable.
Hopefully some of you reading this will be joining me at Project World & World Congress for Business Analysts event in Seattle. I’m looking forward to meeting some new faces and sharing experiences. #PW14
